About Kunst & Wijn Atelier
It started with an encounter during an art exhibition and a good glass of wine.
There, Paul van der Donk and Edwin van Velzen met, connected by their shared passion for art and wine. They soon discovered that art and wine are more than just taste. It is an experience.
Art and Wine enhance each other and bring people together.
In a characteristic building on Weimarstraat in The Hague, they brought this idea to life. With professional knowledge, including through the sommelier training and the Royal Academy, their passion was further deepened.
From hospitality, quality, and originality, a unique place was created: a specialist wine shop and art studio in one.
A place where there is always something new to discover and where taste and experience come together.
On February 25, 2025, my buddy & life partner Edwin van Velzen passed away unexpectedly.
I (Paul van der Donk) have decided to continue the shop and thus Edwin's legacy.
Under the name Kunst & Wijn (Art & Wine) (formerly Wijn & Kunst Atelier) I will continue what we built together over more than 12 years on Weimarstraat in The Hague.
